It also offers an array of specialty and other products and services, including pharmacy benefit management; group life and disability insurance benefits; dental, vision, and behavioral health benefits; workers compensation; and long term care insurance. The company operates as an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association; and serves its members as the Blue Cross licensee for California; the Blue Cross and Blue Shield licensee for Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin; and through HealthLink and UniCare. WellPoint is based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
