In January 2004, FirstEnergy completed the sale of its international operations with the sales of its remaining interest in Avon Energy Partners Holdings on January 16, 2004, and its interest in Termobarranquilla S.A., Empresa de Servicios Publicos (TEBSA) on January 30, 2004. On June 23, 2004, FirstEnergy sold its interest in Great Lakes Energy Partners, LLC.
