It also manufactures and market several lines of power transmission belts, hoses and other rubber products for the transportation industry and various industrial and chemical markets, as well as synthetic rubber and rubber-related chemicals for various applications. It is an operator of commercial truck service and tire retreading centers. Its operating segments are North American Tire; European Union Tire; Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa Tire (Eastern Europe Tire); Latin American Tire; Asia/ Pacific Tire; Engineered Products, and Chemical Products. On January 1, 2005, the Company integrated Chemical Products into North American Tire.
